HOPPY

As if on cue, about an hour after I published yesterday's post, I got an email from C with the subject line: Hop for Haiti!

Turns out, even the 3-year-olds are stepping... or hopping... up to bat. T1 and T2's school is having a fund raising event next week, during which each child will get a turn to hop for 60 seconds. Donations will be taken in a pledge-per-hop fashion, or in static amounts, with all the money raised going toward the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. So cute, I can't stand it.

I asked C if I could share this information with all of you in case anyone wanted to HOP on board. Remember the spiders? You guys certainly delivered then and I'm sure there are spiders in Haiti. If you are looking for a way to help those victims in Haiti but haven't chosen a charity yet, this promises to be a memorable teaching tool in the life of these little impressionable minds, and let's face it - a hoppin' good time!
