CHEERED

Today I was waiting on the elevator at work and started hopping around, shifting my weight from right foot to left.

Which made me think of the DUMBEST cheer we used to do in junior high. Of course at the time we thought it was the best cheer in the history of all cheers ever.

It involved some fancy repetitive hopping footwork while yelling the following:

"You might be good at football (clap)
You might be good at track (clap)
But when it comes to basketball you might as well step back (clap)
We’re taking it to the top (clap)
The Lions can’t be stopped (clap)
Cause we’re N-U-MBER one!

I think that’s how it went. I may have forgotten a stanza. Was there something in there about being the best, from east to west?

My personal favorite cheer (ever) was one we used in basketball: “Do it like the army does, shoot it! shoot it! Do it like the Navy does, sink it! Sink it!” Come on! Can you stand it? That’s just clever.

Poor muddy cheerleader. If that were me, I'd have my eyes closed, too!

  3. hahahahahahahahaha wow. price-less.

what about the skillfully crafted coordination of the ever-popular time out cheer "Be Aggressive"

it's the only reason today I can correctly spell a-g-g-r-e-s-s-i-v-e.
