BEACHY

So far so good. The weather has been tolerable. Today is gorgeous. Not a cloud in the sky. But it rained a little yesterday, causing us (okay, me) to break into a jog on the way back. What can I say? I didn't want my phone and ipod to get anymore ruined than they already are.

We are doing a lot of eating in while we are here. Last night was hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, chips and baked beans. Delicious, just as you would suspect.

The home also has a pool so we have done some night swimming and enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

Atlantic ocean beaches are different from gulf shore beaches. The sand is much darker, yellow even, and the water is not even close to clear. But I saw some dolphins frolicking earlier so its obviously not doing anyone any harm.

In other vacation news, my mom (who is in DC right now) and sister saw Paul McCartney in concert and the Color Purple starring Fantasia over the weekend. Mom's vacation is giving mine a run for the money. But then again, does her vacation have anything remotely this cute?
