This song is great because no matter where you are, or who you are with, everyone will sing along when it comes on. I first heard it when I was in middle school or high school probably. My favorite memory is hearing it in a bar called the Bottom Line in D.C. during the summer softball season.
ReplyDeleteThe softball league, which consists of about 70 teams, is absolutely obsessed with the song. It's an alumni league, and of course the Auburn team loves the song, but Wake Forest takes the cake. Every August, during the tournament, Wake Forest plays "Don't Stop Believing" on repeat for 3 straight days. And I enjoy every minute of it.
This song is great, as previously mentioned, for its incredible sing-a-long value. And also, although everyone acts like they're joking when they're singing it, secretly everyone thinks it's awesome. Also, it is timeless.
