Today, I have a big announcement.
I am happy to announce that as of 10 minutes ago, I am a Netflix subscriber. After the great movie debate of 2008, I knew it was time I bit the bullet. Let the people rejoice and the church bells ring!
So far in my queue:
1. The Office: Season 3 (disc 4)
2. Gone Baby Gone
3. Swingers
4. Rain Man
5. What Happens In Vegas*
6. Pulp Fiction
7. Wall•E*
8. Sex and the City: The Movie*
9. Run, Fat Boy, Run*
Next up: learn to properly pronounce "queue."
*Not yet released on DVD.

Welcome. It's so awesome and you're going to love it. Any time a preview comes on and I remember that I really want to see that movie- I just pop it into my queue. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Men in Black.
ReplyDeleteYessss! I'm so glad you finally got into it. You could borrow my subscription since I was slacking this summer. I do the 3 at a time, but the bar exam killed my movie watching this summer.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing. Solid call on 2-4. GBG is one of the best performances I saw by an Oscar nominee that didn't win (Amy Ryan was soooo much better than Tilda Swinton).
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to pronounce or is this an inside joke. You say it like Q.
ReplyDeleteThe Brits use it a lot. It's one of my favorite expressions: "Excuse me, are you queuing for the toilet?"
So far, I love it. I was able to watch The Office online, so I took it off my "queue" list, which means Swingers will be here tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the clarification, Eric. The extra "-ue" at the end was throwing me off.
