  1. Hi Lindsay -

I don't know if you will remember me or not...we met once through Lindsey Frost, who is one of my best friends from growing up. I actually discovered your blog through another friend, though (Taylor Brooks) and have been a dedicated reader for several months now. I'm probably the New York City reader that pops up everyday on your Site Meter. :)

I've been content as an anonymous stranger follower, mostly because I couldn't figure out a non-creepy way to out myself. But after you put Follow That Bird in your blog, I simply couldn't help myself, as I just told someone about the movie a few days ago and how scary and traumatic it is for children.

I love your writing, and you make me laugh out loud all the time. So now I just want to say hello!

    :)

  2. Oh my gosh. First of all, hello. Second of all, why would Sesame
Street do that to kids? I would cry myself into oblivion when they captured Big Bird and made him blue. Just ask my mom or my sister. I am relieved to know I am not the only one who suffered repeated trauma from that movie. I even tried to add it to my Netflix queue last week but I watched the preview and it creeped me out all over again so I couldn't add it! I am so glad I'm not the only one Jamie!
